Bio: Linda Moeller Brown


Linda has over 35 years of experience in the field of fitness, as a General Manager with Sparetime Inc, Northern California Tennis Clubs, Programs Manager, and Fitness Director, personal training, and group fitness training.

She is a USTA ranked tennis player, and avid cyclist.

My Training Philosophy: I am certified with A.C.E., the American Council on Exercise, and I incorporate the high standards set forth by this organization. A.C.E. continues to "Advance the course of fitness" giving educators the information necessary to teach a "complete" fitness and wellness program. I believe it is important to develop a routine that recognizes and utilizes all components of health and fitness, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, to ensure great results and better time management. My goal with each client is to develop a "complete" individualized program, one that can increase vitality, longevity, promote sound nutrition, and give a variety of training options to match each client’s goals, expectations, and limitations.

Bio: Diane Giuliani

Diane is a certified nutrition and lifestyle educator and coach. She is currently on staff at Wellness Within, a non-profit integrative cancer wellness center, and is passionate about the overall health and wellness of her clients’ minds and bodies. She has instructed group fitness and movement independently and also for DancErgetics Inc. Pilates instruction is her most recent passion and she enjoys working with her clients to improve their strength, flexibility and posture. Diane is an avid snow skier and hiker and recognizes the benefits Pilates provides for both of these activities.

Bio: Maryellen Haddock

Maryellen has always been enthusiastic about exercise and has participated in many different types of exercise regimes before discovering Pilates through her Physical Therapist. She found her home in Pilates and has been practicing Pilates for over 15 years. She has participated in Private classes, Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Chair. Maryellen is an avid golfer and has seen the difference that a Pilates toned body can make in the golf swing and in preventing injuries both on and off the golf course. She is currently taking classes for certification through Balanced Body and has completed Anatomy and Physiology and Mat 1 including Movement Principles.

Bio: Shannon Bell

I have been teaching group fitness classes that focus on strength, balance, flexibility and core conditioning for two years. I have recently become certified in Reformer Pilates level one and have some experience with mat Pilates as well. Practicing and learning to teach Pilates has expanded my knowledge of what our bodies are capable of in the areas of strength and flexibility. I love teaching and encouraging others to increase their fitness level in order to enjoy the healthiest, most productive life possible. Because of personal experience, I have chosen to donate all of the money that I earn as a fitness instructor to Teen Challenge Monterey Bay, a Christian rehabilitation program for those who are caught in the snare of life controlling addictions.

 


Bio: Patti Iorillo

Patti has been a Professional Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer for over 27 years, teaching a wide variety of studio and academic venues throughout the SFO Bay Area including ZUMBA, Dance, Pilates, Vinyasa Flow and Weight Training. Over 15 years ago, Pilates’ certification revolutionized her teaching.  As a former dancer, core conditioning and body control gave her an appreciation for technique and alignment. Her extended work for chiropractors and therapists has enhanced her understanding of the subtleties of the spine, muscles, nervous system and energy pathways, and has led to a more Holistic, integrated approach to fitness.

Bio: Wendy Beress

Wendy has worked in the health and wellness industry for 37 years. Her journey began with becoming a Licensed Physical Therapist, where she built a solid foundation of knowledge and  practical experience for her current  fitness practice. Over the years, she has added Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist and most recently, Pilates Instructor to her repertoire. She incorporates her extensive education and passion for health and well-being into creating the most beneficial  and successful experience for each and every one of her clients.

Bio: Bonnie Jenkins-Close

Bonnie is a practicing rehab Physical Therapist with over 25 years of experience treating patients with movement and neurologic disorders. She is well known internationally for teaching other clinicians in a treatment approach for adults with stroke. Pilates was a natural transition as an adjunct to her treatment interventions with the focus on the core and as a life choice to supplement her active lifestyle. She is an avid cyclist, pickle ball player, SUP, enjoys golf, hiking and showshoeing. Pilates has helped her in developing her strength and flexibility to remain injury free.
